Ulf has a PhD in physical metallurgy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. He works in Hydro Aluminium Metals department for Research, Technology & Development, with particular expertise in aluminium alloy development and extrusion metallurgy.
Hydro uses low-pressure technology to produce billets at its plant in Husnes, Norway.
